The Black Country Skills Factory has teamed up with the West Midlands Manufacturing Club to offer subsidised one-to-one CAD training in AutoCAD 2D and Solid Works Solid Modelling throughout the year.

The West Midlands Manufacturing Club is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting the growth of manufacturing in the West Midlands region.

In collaboration with the Skills Factory, the Manufacturing Club is supporting Black Country-based High Value Manufacturing (HVM) companies to benefit from up to £60 per person per day off the total cost of each course.

CAD courses

The courses are specifically designed to complement the needs of Design Engineers and Draughts persons and are individually tailored for employees who are complete beginners to CAD, as well as those who need refresher training or simply want to keep up-to-date with the latest packages.

All CAD workshops are flexible and courses are offered on a rolling basis so employees can enrol any time throughout the year.

Training takes place on Thursdays from 10am-5pm at Wolverhampton Science Park and course durations range between 30-40 hours of flexible learning depending on the CAD package.
