Skills Factory launches additional Material Planning & Production Control course 20 January

Due to unprecedented demand, the Black Country Skills Factory has confirmed an additional date for the accredited leadership and management course, Material Planning & Production Control, taking place at Castings PLC on Wednesday 20 January 2016.

The course which is aimed at operational leaders (supervisors/managers) in manufacturing supply chain companies will provide an introduction to stock control within the manufacturing environment and how this can affect production output.

Course Content

Who should attend: Operational Managers and/or Leaders within the Manufacturing Environment

Course structure (e.g. type of delivery, classroom, practical, simulated etc.): Class room and practical.

•The basic principles of stock control
•How lead times can affect stock control and production output
•Production planning techniques appropriate to small scale planning
•The benefits of recording production output
